Tile

Layout first,
thinset second.

Backsplashes, feature walls, tub surrounds and fireplace faces. The cuts land where you want them because we plan for it.

Good tile work is decided before any tile goes up. Where the field starts, which cut ends up in the corner, whether the pattern dies into an outlet or runs past it.

We dry lay the layout and walk it with you. That is a twenty minute conversation that saves you looking at a sliver cut over the range for the next fifteen years.

Substrate prep matters just as much. Flat walls, correct board, correct trowel for the tile size.

Questions we get

Straight answers.

Can you match tile I already bought?

Yes. Bring it by or send photos with the box label. If it is discontinued we will tell you straight rather than guess.

How far up should a backsplash go?

Four inch is the budget option. Full height behind the range is the one people are happiest with a year later, especially with a slab or a large format tile.

Do you do herringbone and chevron?

Yes. They take longer and cost more because of the cuts and the waste factor, which we build into the quote up front.

What about grout color?

Matching grout makes the wall read as one surface. Contrasting grout makes the pattern the feature. We will lay both out so you can see it.

Free estimate, no pressure.

Send a few photos and a rough size. If it looks like a fit we will come measure it in person.
